Some Event-ful Changes

We're making some changes to the way we price our events, and we decided that it might make a good test run for our blog. Welcome to the Academy Archives!

First off, we've introduced event levels to explain the different types of events that we run and the pricing that applies to each. Learn more about those here: https://theadventurersacademy.com/pages/event-pricing.

The biggest change is to D&D, which is moving from the "Adventurer" tier to the "Hero" tier. This means that, instead of paying $5.00 per session and receiving $5.00 in store credit, you'll pay $5.00 per session and receive $2.50 in store credit, with the other $2.50 going to your dungeon master. We're making this change because we know that it's a lot of work to prep and run a game, and we want to provide a small token of appreciation to our awesome DMs. This pricing will apply to all newly scheduled campaigns in the store, effective immediately.

The other change is to Warhammer Open Play, which is moving from the "Adventurer" tier to the "Apprentice" tier. This means that starting 8/1, tickets will be free, though we still strongly encourage players to help us plan by signing up on our website.

And finally, a gargantuan-sized thank you for your patience while we work hard to refine our systems, expand our stock, and help the Academy reach its full potential! We are consistently amazed by how welcoming and supportive our community is, and we are immensely grateful to each and every one of you. ❤
